Strategies adopted to achieve ODF status  

Structure of Teams   

A hierarchical structure was used for the implementation of project as given below.

District level         

District Monitoring Team headed by CEO – DRDA.

Block level              

Block Monitoring Team headed by Block Coordinator.

Cluster level         

Team of motivators consisting of 8-10 members covering 5

6 villages.

Village level          

Swachhta Samiti, a committee consisting of village children,

elders, women and youth as natural leaders & members

was constituted for constant monitoring by the villagers

themselves but with the help of motivators and team

members.
